nestled between the Sabine and the Calcasieu
Rivers. It is a full scale operating ranch
boasting over 20,000 acres of land, 2,000 cattle
and 180 horses. It is owned by the Lawton Family
and is in its 4th generation of operation.
Established in 1930, it has operated since

The Lawton Ranch has survived
many trials through the years. It began in the
midst of the Great Depression; it has stood
through two World Wars and its share of natural
disasters. Today, the Lawton Ranch stands as a
testimony to what hard work, determination, and
the will to follow a dream can accomplish.
